Triton Bay is located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, boasting an astonishing 959 species of reef fish and 471 species of coral—some of which were only discovered in recent years. It is part of the Kaimana Marine Protected Area and Raja Ampat Marine Protected Area (MPA), covering 597,747 hectares to preserve this ecological wonder.

The nutrient-rich waters of Triton Bay attract whale sharks, which can often be spotted near the traditional bagans (fishing platforms). Divers and snorkelers have the rare chance to swim alongside these gentle giants in one of the most undisturbed environments on Earth.
