Yes. Visitors must purchase a Raja Ampat Marine Park Entry Permit, which helps fund conservation efforts. The permit can be obtained in Waisai at the harbour ot online at the official BLUD UPTD website and costs approximately IDR 700,000 (~$45 USD) per person.
Please note: This is a seperate fee to the The Raja Ampat Visitor Entry Ticket which costs IDR 300,000.

Absolutely! Raja Ampat is one of the best snorkeling destinations in the world, with shallow reefs teeming with marine life. Many dive sites, including Arborek Jetty and Sawandarek, offer incredible snorkeling experiences.
The best time to visit is during the dry season from October to April, when conditions are perfect for diving, snorkeling, and sailing. Visibility is at its best, and this is the prime time to see manta rays and whale sharks. The off-season (May to September) can have occasional heavy rains but still offers good diving with fewer crowds.
